EasyInvoicePDF is a free, open-source, browser-based invoice generator for creating PDF invoices. No account, subscription, or software installation is required. You can edit an invoice with a live PDF preview and download the finished document.

## How to create a PDF invoice

1. [Open the invoice editor](https://easyinvoicepdf.com/?template=default).
2. Enter the seller and buyer names, addresses, tax numbers, and optional contact details.
3. Set the invoice number, issue date, due date, currency, and language.
4. Add line items with descriptions, quantities, units, prices, and taxes as needed.
5. Choose the default or Stripe-inspired layout and optionally add a logo or QR code.
6. Review the live PDF preview, totals, labels, and page breaks.
7. Download the finished PDF or create a shareable invoice link. Invoices with uploaded logos cannot currently generate shareable invoice links.

## Privacy and data handling

During normal invoice editing and PDF generation, invoice content is not transmitted to EasyInvoicePDF servers. The current invoice and reusable seller and buyer profiles are stored in browser local storage. A shareable invoice link contains a compressed copy of the invoice data in the URL. Anyone with the complete link can access the data.

## Cost and account requirements

Core invoice creation, live preview, shareable invoice links, and PDF download are free. No account or subscription is required. The product does not display advertisements.

## Important limitations

EasyInvoicePDF creates invoice documents. It is not accounting software, bookkeeping software, tax advice, a payment processor, or a guarantee that an invoice satisfies local laws.

Current feature boundaries include:

- Per-line-item discounts are not currently available
- Automated recurring invoices are not currently available
- Saved seller and buyer profiles support repeated manual invoicing
- Built-in payment processing and direct email delivery are not currently available
- Shareable invoice links do not provide recipient authentication or access control
- Electronic invoice formats such as UBL, XRechnung, and Factur-X are not currently generated
